Expert Brand Consultants In Melbourne

  1. Founder & Director

Bree is a branding and business expert, with a taste for words and personality.

She studied journalism, thought about being a foreign correspondent, then realised she didn’t like politics. So, she switched to writing about eggs and joined cult publication Broadsheet as their third employee. She quickly rose from editorial assistant to acting editor, then spread her wings and left to co-found W&B, where she is now proudly managing partner.

In 2013, she launched the now-iconic body care brand, frank body. As the business quickly grew, she worked as Co-CMO and Creative Director, then Head of People, before returning to her roots as Head of Brand Expansion, launching frank’s FMCG line Everyday by frank body.

Bree brings experience, intuition, and an appetite for big ideas to everything she touches.

She lives her life by the motto: risk it for the biscuit.

  2. Founder & Director

Co-founder of Willow & Blake and co-founder & CMO of cult skincare brand, frank body, Jess is a trained copywriter and brand strategist, passionate about providing brands and their customers with unique, meaningful and memorable experiences. Jess is an ambassador for the Australian Literacy & Numeracy Foundation and was previously named in Forbes 30 under 30.

When she’s not cooking up big ideas at work, she’s at home cooking up life-changing spanakopita with her daughters; Daisy and Ellery.

  3. Creative Director

Bri is our creative leader, unlocking instinctive and compelling ideas with her sharp thinking and knack for comprehending client needs. She began her creative career in screenwriting, honing her narrative skills and developing an obsession with storytelling that continues to shape her work today.

Often spotted conceptualising with pen and paper, she has brought her holistic creative approach to clients such as DISSH, KEVIN.MURPHY, frank body, Bakers Delight, Heinz, BMW, Suzuki, Jacob’s Creek, Asahi, Lucas Restaurants, and Bed Threads. Her work has not only built brands but also solidified their cultural relevance.

On weekends you’ll find her wildly oscillating between cosying up with a good book, immersing herself in the latest cultural event, or partying with a pet nat in hand.

  4. Copywriter & Strategist

From cranberry juice to caviar, Clare’s copywriting portfolio is a strange but delightful smorgasbord spanning FMCG, hospitality, economy and luxury. Her work has included full-scale OOH campaigns for Ocean Spray, print work for The Ritz Carlton and, one time, an edible, wall-sized poem for Marriott Bonvoy. At W&B, she works across strategy and brand voice, taking concrete insights and turning them into juicy creative concepts and chewy words.

She’s known for mercilessly boring the team with linguistic facts—for example, ‘toodooloo’ is an English bastardisation of the French ‘à tout à l’heure’. Bet you’re glad you know that, now.

  5. Clara’s the kind of person who has a favourite word because it sounds good. Like crescendo or kerfuffle or cronut. And when she needs to solve a brief, she’ll reach into her stash of words to pull out just the right puzzle piece.

Clara started out on some of Australia’s biggest retail brands like Australia Post, Medibank and Optus. Now, she weaves together strategy and brand voice to create stories that sticks in shoppers’ minds. When Clara’s not dreaming up creative campaigns, you’ll find her drawing latte art on her third coffee for the day. More is more. Unless it’s a compound adjective.

  6. Liv is a multidisciplinary creative with experience spanning in-house, agency, and freelance roles. She has worked across a wide range of industries, with a strong focus on fashion, interiors and furniture, and hospitality. She’s partnered with Melbourne's fashion heavyweights, given restaurants their flavour beyond the menu, and rebranded furniture and interiors businesses with challenger spirit.

Her work often blends different creative disciplines—styling, tactile design, video, writing, and storytelling—to create brands that feel considered, layered, and expressive. When she’s not creating, she’s reading, knitting, thrifting online, or playing a suspiciously competitive game of tennis.

  7. Designer

Noah is a designer, making brands that look good and mean something. Cutting his teeth at Studio Round where he worked on iconic and mouth watering names like Koko Black, King & Godfree and Baker Bleu, Noah joined W&B as a brand identity specialist.

From customer goods to fashion, Noah pulls disparate elements of high and low, old and new into his work. He’s a one-man design history library, always managing to pull the perfect obscure reference we didn’t know we needed.

Noah first had his mind blown by design when he unfolded a Gorillaz CD poster. He’s  been chasing that high ever since.

  8. Business Director
